PROVO, Utah — Aaron Holker, Rangi Smart, Scott Coleman and Chris Miller will all represent BYU at the NCAA Wrestling Championships in State College, Pa., March 18-20.

Holker, a freshman, received an automatic bid to the tournament by winning the 133-pound weight class at the Western Athletic Conference Championships. He has a record of 20-8 on the season, including a seventh-place finish at the Las Vegas Invitational.

Ranked as high as No. 2 in the nation in the 165-pound weight class, Smart will enter the championships unranked after placing second at WAC. The junior has the best record of all Cougar wrestlers at 19-7, including a second-place finish at the Las Vegas Invitational in December. Smart took WAC Wrestler-of-the-Week honors after he swept the competition in Hawaii at the Aloha Classic on Jan. 2.

Coleman, another freshman, finished third at the WAC Championships and received a wild-card bid to the NCAAs. He has a record of 18-10 on the year, with seven wins by pin, including a string of four in a row in mid-season. Coleman received WAC Wrestler-of-the-Week honors twice during the year.

Miller, a sophomore, also received a wild-card bid to compete in the heavyweight division. He enters the NCAA competition with a 13-15 record.
