Steve Cleveland

General comments about the game: "Playing at home is obviously a significant advantage.  They are a very good team.  It's difficult to go on the road and play in someone else's gym.  I think defensively we were solid.  We could utilize a smaller lineup because the matchups defensively were about the best we could have."

Why Lyday was held out for the end of the game:  "Terrell Lyday had a slight concussion--which created a migraine.  His head is really hurting.  That is why Terrell never came back in the game."

About the play of Wesley:  "The old Mekeli Wesley came back in the second half.  He was so much fresher because of the time sitting out in the first half."

On the play of Nielsen:  "His intensity was great tonight.  If Rivers were healthy, David [Nielsen] may not have had the opportunity.  He knows his role.  I'm really happy for [him] and the opportunity he had to make a contribution."

About the home court advantage:  "If we played this game in Bowling Green, it would be a different game."

David Nielsen

On defending Bowling Greens' leading scorer Stacey:  "I was just trying to keep the ball out of his hands."

Dan Dakich (Bowling Green's Head Coach)

Comments on the game: "That was not very representative of how we played basketball this year.  BYU really played hard.  Everyone told me that these kids [at BYU] are quicker and stronger than you think.  What a good job they did tonight.  We just didn't play."

Did the altitude bother the players?:  "No, BYU was just flat better, the altitude didn't have anything to do with it."

If the letdown of not making the NCAA tournament had an impact:  "I don't know.  I thought we had gotten over it.  I think a lot of it had to do with BYU.  It's difficult to win on the road.  Any other [excuses] would cheapen how well BYU played."

If the game would be different at home:  "If we had played this game, like we did, at Bowling Green, we would have got beat by 27 also."

Anthony Stacey

On BYU's play:  "You gotta give them credit.  They played exceptionally well."

About the altercation with Wesley:  "It was nothing personal.  It's no big deal.  That's college basketball."

If the crowd affected him:  "No.  They [BYU] had a great crowd.  The fans are always on me.  That's their job.  I like that.  That's what home court advantage is for."
